MEDICAL EXPENSES TAX OFFSET
Individual and families that spend over a certain amount on medical expenses per year may be eligible for tax offset to help with these expenses. The are many conditions to this and this program is being phased out by the government but is current for 2013-14 tax year. It is certainly worth asking your accountant about, especially if you are going through IVF or undergoing expensive medical investigations.
